Power Assists For Your Bike
For those who can't manage to ride totally on their own or those who like an occasional boost up steep hills, there are many varieties of power assists available. Power packages are available in gas, electric and even air. You can buy ready-to-go power assisted bikes off the rack in styles from futuristic to folding to totally traditional or get a DIY power kit to retrofit your old bike. All these are available from on-line dealers, your local bike shop or direct from a manufacturer. There's a lot of technical knowledge you should have before you make a decision (like how much power you want/need and how much a given product can deliver), so do your homework on this one.
