May 24-26 Horsey Hundred | Bluegrass Cycling Club | Georgetown KY | Saturday route options include 26, 35, 53, 75, and the traditional Horsey Hundred. Sunday routes will take you in different directions on your choice of a 30 mile loop, a 50 miler through Paris or a 75-miler through the heart of the Bluegrass. May 25 JJJ | Jerry's Jeromesville Journey | Lorain Wheelmen | Oberlin OH | 100 mi | This is a freebie century through southern Lorain and northern Ashland Ashland Counties. The route takes us south from Oberlin through some rolling Amish countryside toward Jeromesville. Then it's west on part of the Cardinal Trail to near Ashland. Plan for stops in Hayesville, Olivesburg (for BIG ice cream cones) and Nova to refuel. For those who think 50 miles or so is enough, there's a cutoff at Ashland County Road 500 to accommodate you. June 12-16 NorthWest Michigan Tour | Tri-County Bicycle Association | Northwest MI | NorthWest Tour is a five day bicycle tour in the beautiful Sleeping Bear Dunes and Leelanau areas of Michigan’s northwest Lower Peninsula. The tour features great scenery on good roads through many small towns and tourist areas, all from the convenience of a single camping location. Daily routes typically have shorter and longer options of about 30, 60, and 100 miles. This is primarily a tent camping tour, with provision for some RV’s (extra fee). June 15 Pumpkinvine Bike Ride | Friends of the Pumpkinvine Nature Trail | Goshen IN | The 14th Annual Pumpkinvine Bike Ride supports maintenance of the 17-mile Pumpkinvine Nature Trail between Goshen, Middlebury and Shipshewana. You may choose to start either in Goshen or Shipshewana. The ride features 6.8 miles of trail near Goshen and 5.5 miles of trail between Middlebury and Shipshewana. July 8 The 100,000 Metre T-Shirt Ride | Tri County Bicycle Association | Laingsburgh High School, Laingsburg, MI | Again this year, we will offer a 8K (5 mile) option for families and/or riders who are not quite ready for the longer routes. Other riders have three routes from which to choose: 25K (17 miles), 50K (34 miles), and 100K (62 miles) loops. July 13 Upper Sandusky Family Bicycle Tour | Upper Sandusky OH | This, the 20th year for this ride, will be the last to ride over hill and dale with some of your closest friends in Wyandot County. Flat to rolling routes of 9/17/25/32/50/62 miles from which to choose. Pedal the ups and downs of the blue stone ridges formed during the Ice Age, then head south, west, and up the last hill at Indian Mill State park and back to the start.
